One of three contenders for a spot as the patchouli representative in the permanent soap collection! All of the soaps contain pure, dark, aged patchouli essential oil, our house made gluten-free oat milk and mineral-rich Moroccan rhassoul clay.
Patchouli essential oil goes WAYYY back - Ancient Egypt's King Tut apparently has 10 gallons of the stuff in his tomb! And in 1800s Asia, patchouli was used to authenticate their fabrics, such as silk, being traded in Europe.
Today it is one of the top therapeutic essential oils so loved for its' calming, balancing and grounding effects on our nervous systems. Throw in skin soothing anti-inflammatory properties and patchouli is a winner!
"Soul" is the earthiest of the patchouli soap contenders and credits natural indigo root for the lovely blue swirls! Atlas cedarwood, frankincense and bergamot - the three supporting essential oils in this blend - are all known to be beneficial in assisting us with our anxiety and stress. This is the one that'll bring you back down to earth when things have gone wingy!
