patchouli blood orange soap

The winner of the patchouli contest in fall 2023!  All of the soaps contain pure, dark, aged patchouli essential oil, our house made gluten-free oat milk and mineral-rich Moroccan rhassoul clay. 

Patchouli essential oil goes WAYYY back - Ancient Egypt's King Tut apparently has 10 gallons of the stuff in his tomb!   And in 1800s Asia, patchouli was used to authenticate their fabrics, such as silk, being traded in Europe.  

Today it is one of the top therapeutic essential oils so loved for its' calming, balancing and grounding effects on our nervous systems.  Throw in skin soothing anti-inflammatory properties and patchouli is a winner!

The orange swirl from French Red Clay.  Patchouli and citrus are a classic pairing and this is our version!   The uplifting and bright blood orange, lime and tangerine essential oils harmonize beautifully with the calming and grounding patchouli - just lovely for a morning shower moment!

Ingredients:  Saponified Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Rice Bran Oil, Cocoa Butter and Castor Oil;  GF Oat milk;  Rhassoul and French Red Clays;  Dark Patchouli, Blood Orange, Tahitian Lime and Tangerine Essential Oils
